Looks like a blend between wind waker and twilight princess graphics and will utilize the motionplus add-on for the wii. I can't wait to try it out.

Hey, I was wondering what people would recommend for hosting a commercial site as far as webhosting goes? Shared hosting is out of the question because it can be way too slow, especially during peek hours. Zach, you were telling me about VPSs. Are those a good way to go with this and how much maintenance is required? Would I need to get a dedicated server or is there some quasi-shared host that won't oversell? Thanks in advance (and sorry for the barrage of questions)!

Just in case you haven't heard, you can get Portal for free through Steam right now. I downloaded it a couple of days ago and played it for the first time. Truly classic game with a surprisingly huge amount of character for how short it is.

I've primarily been a Windows user my whole life, but the past 2 years I've tinkered a lot with Linux (mainly Ubuntu), going so far as to have it as the sole OS on my laptop and have it dual boot with my desktop. What is your favorite OS?

I must say I'm impressed with Windows 7 so far. Everything has been quite snappy and it almost boots as fast as Ubuntu 10.04 (but not quite).

Has anyone here played these games for the XBox Arcade? Personally, I think they are amazing! Splosionman if you have had WAY too much coffee or Braid if you like puzzles (both putting puzzle pieces together and solving levels).

Hey guys, I'm back, sort of. I decided yet again that I want to get back into the phpbb3 mod development. I decided to actually get my own webspace this time (sorry for bumming it up until now Zack ), and also I wanted to host my own board for friends (feel free to join as well).

Did any of you guys pull a good prank or two this year? I opted not to do an april fool's joke with the website this year after the debacle of two years ago (pretended to shut the site down). I must've been a little too convincing since a good number of people, including some active posters here, thought it was real and never came back, haha.

The basic platformer action hasn't changed either. As the feisty little plumber Mario, you traverse different worlds to collect coins while dodging enemies such as malevolent mushrooms and ill-tempered turtles. You won't find an extensive feature set, but you can at least change the keyboard controls or disable the music and sound effects.

2010 Year of the Wii?

Ok, I just finished talking with Sergio, an avid gamer and an n^N (where N = level of Nintendism) fan of Nintendo products (even more than I am). We discussed the NA release dates of Mario Galaxy 2 (May 23), and Other M (June 27). Christmas looks very empty. Sergio hypothesized that Nintendo has another major release for Christmas: either the new Zelda or a new handheld.

What do you guys think? My money is on them releasing the new Zelda since they have been strangely quiet about it and they always have a major release for the holiday season.

Between these three and Civ5, I might as well drop out of school.

I recently reinstalled GW in preparation for a project I'm going to be working on called Virtual Worlds. The nostalgia really hit me when I saw that I had a Happy 4th Birthday present and saw that The Goonies is still a guild (and I'm still an officer), which displays my join date (the date the Goonies was created) as April 2005. Man...Has it really been that long?

What a great game. I look forward to GW2.

What do you guys think? I would have called it something like iTab or something. At $500 for the smallest version (16 gigs), I'd rather go with a beastier laptop. Anyways, It does set of my nerdar since it looks like something Picard would have in his lap as he leisurely sits at his chair with a cup of earl grey.
